I do not think it is a formatting issue. The file only had LF. On my system it
gets converted to CR,LF. Hence all the new lines in the patch.
I do not know how to do it... Here are the lines that changed :

+ <endorsedDir>${buildDir}/endorsed</endorsedDir>
+ <localRepoDir>${settings.localRepository}</localRepoDir>
