I think the Wiki is a better place for status or at least the STATUS file should be replicated there
so people don't have to check out code to see what the project is doing. Or are we saying this is
the final resting place for project status. I'm ok with moving it I'm just thinking that if were
creating yet another STATUS / ROADMAP / information file that will stagnate.
