Have you tried changing geronimo-dependency.xml in openejb2/modules/openejb-core/src/resources2/META-INF? Please modify the following line: <dep:groupId>geronimo-spec</dep:groupId> to <dep:groupId>org.apache.geronimo.specs</dep:groupId>
