FYI, cwiki has Giffy installed on it... so you can use that to create
diagrams too. See the "Add Diagram" link when looking at a page
under http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/...

Hi Hernan
Everything has nicely put together.Good content Hernan.
I think it would be useful for people who wants contribute in writing
docs to know tips about drawing diagrams as well (in the section of
"Tips for Writing and formatting documentation").Most of the
diagrams in
Sample applications and deployment plans were used open office/eclipse
tools (Since we don't have license software) to draw diagrams. Also we
have used geronimo colors(Blue,Black).

Hi All,
I put together two documents explaining how Geronimo's wiki is
organized, confluence spaces, HTML auto export plugins, etc. as
well as some basic guidelines for formatting the content for the
articles that make the actual Geronimo documentation.
Documentation architecture:
http://cwiki.apache.org/geronimo/geronimo-cwiki-documentation-
architecture.html
Documentation guidelines:
http://cwiki.apache.org/geronimo/tips-for-writing-and-formatting-
documentation.html
Pls let me know if any of these docs are not clear, there is a lot
of room for improvement.
The idea behind this is to:
1.- have documented how the Geronimo documentation is organized
2.- provide a standard way to reference specific pages/articles
within the documentation
3.- provide text formatting guidelines for consistency all across
the documentation.
Your comments are very much appreciated.
Cheers!
Hernan
