Such errors are usually caused by different versions
of the class to be visible by a class loader. You should
check the different jars visible from the JAXB implementation.
Note that the javax/xml/namespace/QName class is defined
in the JRE starting from JDK 5.
Such problems are unfortunately not always easy to debug ...
