Folder classpath cannot be added in geronimo

Websphere Application Server has a concept of shared library which can point to
external folder (containing configuraition files)....How to achieve the same
functionality in geronimo.....Do we need to copy all the files to geronimo
shared repository ? If yes, this doesnt work if we have different web
application with same configuration file with different parameter values...
