Tina Li commented on GERONIMODEVTOOLS-706:
------------------------------------------
Tried on 3.0.0-20110629202926 snapshot of gep and jun22's build of geronimo-3.0
snapshot, enable Karaf shell in eclipse console, start the server successfully
and shutdown via karaf shell using ctrl-d or "osgi:shutdown".
But found 1. the status of server changed from "started" to "stopped" and the
admin console can't be accessed
2.Karaf shell still can be used
3.Start the server again, but error message displayed:
Port 1099 required by RMI Naming is already in use. The server may already be
running in another process, or a system process may be using the port. To start
this server you will need to stop the other process or change the port
number(s).
> Consider enabling Karaf shell in Eclipse console

> (If possible) I think it would be pretty nice to have an option to enable and
> access Karaf shell directly in Eclipse console window. If that can be done
> make sure to start Geronimo server with
> -Djline.terminal=jline.UnsupportedTerminal option.
