OK, seeing as Eli's had good results with GIRAPH-246 (which in its current form
removes most of GIRAPH-267), I'd like to go ahead and commit that and leave
this one open for further investigation by Jaeho to see why it's not be as
effective as hoped. Hopefully the cause can be found and we can get the full
benefit of this approach. Everybody ok with that?
