To serialize, the idea is to `close` the `HiveRegister` instance, waiting for all hive updates complete, before returning. ### Tests - [] My PR adds the following tests: ### Commits - [x] My commits all reference JIRA issues in their subject lines, and I have squashed multiple commits if they address the same issue.
