Per discussions in the dev mailing list [1], this ticket will be used to track
improvement to support other serialization framework such as ProtocolBuffer,
Thrift to work with Apache Gora.
Currently Apache Gora work exclusively with Apache Avro as RPC and
serialization mechanism.
