Lewis John McGibbney commented on GORA-189:
-------------------------------------------
np Henry.
I am kida unsure as to which unit test actually tests this out for us! We
already persist String's into many datastores, however I am dealing with quite
complex objects, e.g.
https://github.com/MJJoyce/xdata-nba/blob/master/impoexpo/src/main/avro/Game.json
Meaning that as of now I seem to be running in to unpredicatable results...
e.g. this issue :(
If you can suggest a test then I will write one for core... the rest can
* either extent, or
* we write it for core persistence!
I am hung and this issue generally tbh [~hsaputra]

> It would be much useful if gora compiler generates methods taking Strings as
> parameters (and creating Utf8 inside automatically). Code would be much more
> clear and simple when populating that classes.
