Hi @djkevincr ! I've tracked down this FTBFS issue and came to the same conclusion : it's linked to a behavior change in lastest Maven 3.8.1 (described in [CVE-2021-26291 section of release notes](https://maven.apache.org/docs/3.8.1/release-notes.html)). @djkevincr Could you please push your GORA-679 branch on official Apache git repository so that it gets build with our [Jenkins pipeline](https://ci-builds.apache.org/blue/organizations/jenkins/Gora%2Fgora-pipeline/branches).
