Splendid.  Thanks.

Prompted by the JetBrains guys, I moved up to IntelliJ IDEA 8 EAP and it
actually seems nicer than 7.0.4 -- mostly.  This has Gant support, which
is a bit sad, it would have been better if they had Gradle support!

You might want to note that running "Compile" only ever runs the Java
compiler even for a project with Groovy facet.  The JetBrains people
know and are trying to fix.

I still prefer Emacs :-)
