The wiki article on 'How to contribute a patch to Gradle' lists 3 ways: SVN patch, bazaar fork through launchpad, or git fork through github.

Is there one of these that is preferred for larger changes? Is anyone actually submitting changes using git?

Is there any hope of having a repo on either launchpad or github that is automatically synced with SVN? I have found it awkward to wait for these to be manually synced some times.

I have had success with using bazaar to merge in the latest changes directly from SVN, but can't get git-svn to work correctly under windows :(.
