Do we know why Codehaus Bamboo is failing to run any tests?
It's not checking out the source for some reason. It does detect
changes, however.
Anyone had any success configuring bamboo to work with git?
I have asked the grails people for help.
Grails has abandoned Bamboo.
What I have found is the following link:
http://blogs.atlassian.com/news/2009/05/bamboo_plugins.html
How In understand this, it that the normal Bamboo Git plugin does
not work properly with GitHub. There is an additional Bamboo GitHub
plugin you would need for that. This plugin is not available on
Codehaus Bamboo. In general I don't think this is critical. We have
our main CI builds on TeamCity and we have one on Hudson. But it is
kind of nice to demonstrate that Gradle runs on the major CI apps.
We could ask Codehaus if they would install the GitHub repository
plugin. Until then we better disable it I'd say.
What shall we do with the nightly build?
I have approached Yegor from TeamCity and he said he will approach the
admin whether they will allow outgoing FTP. I haven't heard back from
Yegor yet, but the new nightly docs build seems to be able to upload
the documentation. I think there is not point in having another full
build on TeamCity. Therefore I have created just a build for uploading
the latest docs once a day. We might reintroduce a full build for
using some special prerequisites (e.g. a clean artifact cache). But as
long as we can't do this (Gradle would need to provide a feature for
this) we might as well just build the doc. The nightly docs build
should eventually also upload the website.
