I've created a patch to the IDEA plugin in gradle to enable the usage of
directory based configuration.
I've put all the details and an patch into the JIRA Ticket #1041
(http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GRADLE-1041)
This is just a first attempt to enable directory based configurations
(we're using it on a multi-project build right now, though),
so any comment is welcome :)
