Have you considered making these "benchmarks" public, that is
releasing all the code and all build files (mvn, ant, grade) to e.g.
github so everyone could try it out? That would make them more
credible.
The source for the benchmarks is in the gradle repository, in the
performanceTest subdirectory.
It contains a Gradle build script which will generate the test projects.
Each test project contains main and test source files, along with a
build.gradle, pom.xml and build.xml.
One day I'd like to set up a daily build which runs some of these
benchmarks and lets us know when we get regressions.
