Indeed. At one point in the past I found a WebDav upload combination
that worked, at least from a Gant script. I can't remember if it was
using Slide or Jackrabbit. I think there is no Ant task in Jackrabbit,
but… There is AntDav which appears to provide a Ant task over
Jackrabbit.

Other people are reporting they have WebDav running with the latest
HttpClient, e.g. Sardine https://code.google.com/p/sardine/.

I suspect I will find an Ant task and use that from Gradle rather than
write something from scratch.
