Because the vast majority of users use the forum for support. More people jave 
forum accounts than JIRA accounts. 

Also, When something goes wrong users usually aren't in a good position to 
ascertain whether it's misuse or a defect.  If the forum is *the* place to go 
then they don't have to think about it.

The forum is *the* user channel. That's our strategy.

The kind of issues you post aren't the same as what regular users of Gradle 
post. I don't see any benefit of putting these kinds of issues through the 
forum.
