Hello,
I've just merged your commit into the current master (see
gradle/gradle@dc70c26
<https://github.com/gradle/gradle/commit/dc70c26d37225718e3a70d6b68a79d892da652c5>).

So it will be part of 1.3.
We couldn't merge the pullrequest automatically, as I needed to adapt
some other tests in the gradle codebase. Thanks for your help here.
