Why do we need to try and do this dynamically? How dynamic really is this 
situation? Only certain different language source sets are combinable. Also, 
there may be different strategies for composition. For example, compilation 
options that are only relevant when joint compiling.

Seems to me like we want to strongly type cross language composition: 
JavaGroovySourceSet, JavaScalaSourceSet etc.

It feels like the composition needs to be strongly modelled, at least in terms 
of configuration. In terms of consumption, it seems like we could extract 
common interfaces as we hit use cases.
