Hi Russel,
I always thought GPars was a cool part of Groovy, but alas have never gotten
around to using it (parallelism does not make  much sense in my framework).
Unfortunately I do not think I would have time to help in any meaningful way,
but I was still wondering if a high level list/description of things that would
need doing to get GPars 2.0 (if it is tied to Groovy 3.0 you might consider
syncing the version numbers for psychological reasons - sonehow 2.0 sounds very
2000-ish to me) out of the door, and if it would make sense to post it here ?
Cheers,mg

Thanks to Cédric for his time spent revising the Groovy build system. It is
now much easier and simpler to build Groovy HEAD.

I guess I am now under pressure to get GPars 2 out so Groovy can have a JDK8+
compliant concurrency/parallelism system. Sadly though despite a few calls for
help via email, no-one other than me actually seems to care enough to put some
effort in, which has led to me not being as proactive as it would good to be –
motivation dissipated.

Is there organisation out there that depends on GPars that can allocate some
development resource for me to work with?
