I'm generally +1 but I'd like to get some numbers on how much stable both
platform and APIs really are.

For the APIs I think we should expose package-info information and package
level versioning (e.g. semantic versioning) in order to avoid backward
compatibility issues. That implies that we want to significantly change an
API it'd be good to do it before 1.0, afterwards it'd be a bit annoying.
For the platform it'd be good if we could have a more strong testing also
of distributed and pseudo distributed modes... not sure if we can achieve
it via recent work on deploying Hama in containers and the likes...
