Gregory,
HARMONY-2817 seems to fix stress.Sync but I still observe rare
gc.LOS and
gc.MultiThreads hangs on linux JIT. Could you apply HARMONY-2838
to exclude
these tests?
This is strange because for me tests on linux run ok. And I run
them a lot because I test every commit. Anyway it could be the
configuration difference, like the number of CPUs. I'll exclude
the tests now, but I think the idea of having a local CC exclude
list in the other thread is a good one. This way CC will be stable
while we'll still see test failures and will work on fixing them.
Yes, but I get the feeling we're getting a growing list of
localized issues by platform, and local exclude lists prevent us
from having a complete view what's wrong.
I wonder if it would be useful to add a platform exclude file too -
that way, we remove the need for user-managed platform-specific CC
hacking, and anyone in the community can look and see what's broken
where.
And it would be included via a property, so if you wanted to still
run all the tests, you would just not specify the property, yet the
CC system would when doing it's test runs.
