I see a number of our projects have students applying for them already
[1]. If you have volunteered to be a mentor (or want to be one), please
make sure you take a look at the projects that have been applied for and
put yourself down as a mentor if you wish - at the bottom of each
application there is a "I am willing to mentor this student" link which
you need to click to get yourself associated.

Oliver

Just a reminder - everyone who wants to be a mentor needs to register
with the GSoC homepage [1]. Once you are registered and logged in you
can select "Apply to be a mentor" from the left hand panel, and then
select the Apache Software Foundation.

Hi everyone,
Do we want to propose any projects for Google Summer of Code 2009? It
was quite successful last year for Harmony, with two students
completing the programme, so definitely worth doing in my opinion.

Thanks,
