I've applied the patches from
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HARMONY-6264 to DRLVM and the kernel class stubs. Unless anyone (other VM developers?) objects then I intend to apply the updates from https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HARMONY-6262 on Thursday. These changes wont break the IBM VMEs on developerWorks since they have no sun.misc.Unsafe implementation so concurrent is already broken. Regards, Mark.
