Hi all, This is my progress update sent to Mark a couple of days ago. As required by Mark, I'd forward this to the list and submit the problem that I encountered to JIRA (hopefully you've already seen it). I'll keep updating my progress in this list and welcome any suggestion and criticism :)

My planned timeline is as follows: Week 1 Read and fully understand the JDB specification; Week 2-3 Read and get familiar with the Eclipse JDI library; Week 4-8 Coding and debugging for the implementaiton of JDB; Week 9-11 Coding and debugging for the extensive enhancement; Week 12 Complete the documentation work. It's been about 3 weeks since the community binding period ended. I've got familiar with the Eclipse JDI library and the basic usage of JDB. Hence I can say that the progress still follows the plan. As you know currently some problem exists, such as the different usage of RI and eclipse lib. I'm still investigating this problem. Fortunately, the sample code you sent to me runs well and I've started to write a jdb with simple function such as attaching and running and then add function step by step.
