According to https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/attachment/12444007/Bloom_Filters_in_HBase.pdf, there isn't much benefit of Dynamic Bloom Filter in HBase. DynamicByteBloomFilter.java is still there. It isn't used. Plus there is no API, per column family or global config as well as HFile support for completely different implementation of bloom filters at this point.
