Hi Uma..Thanks a lot for ur reply. I have tried same steps but stile getting
the error.
My hbase-site.xml is as follows
<configuration>
<property>
<name>hbase.rootdir</name>
<value>hdfs://localhost:9000/hbase</value>
</property>
</configuration>
In hbase-env.sh I have mentioned JAVA_HOME.
What should i do ? Is there any changes to be done in hadoop. Pls help me.
