Hi mates, I have done some changes in the region_mover to allow faster rolling-restarts. I have been able to test it on 0.94 on a 8 node cluster with 2500+ regions. Took 16 minutes instead of 74!!!!
Now, the patch I pushed in 8803 is for Trunk, which mean not tested. I don't have a cluster running on trunk. Does anyone have a trunk cluster where this script can be tested? Also, I will re-extract the original 0.94 and try to apply the trunk patch in it and retest... Thanks, JM
