Hi,

        I am not able to checkout the code from github (using TortoiseGit in 
Windows). Any clue why ? Any access permissions required ?

        git.exe clone  --recursive    --progress -v  
"https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/hbase.git"; 
"D:\HADOOP\hbase\GIT\apache.svn.latest.trunk\hbase"
