OK... Think is, I installed a distribution a while ago on this server and there is still config files even if the distribution is not running. bin/hbase catches them with HADOOP_JAVA_LIBRARY_PATH and add them all to the classpath, which mess everything. Using export HBASE_DISABLE_HADOOP_CLASSPATH_LOOKUP=true I can skip this and I'm now able to start HBase correctly...
