Hi HBase devs, I'm working on the Hadoop 3 release, and Sean mentioned the nifty Java ACC tool and the check_compatibility.sh script. ACC is way nicer than JDiff, and I'd like to use it over in Hadoop.
There are some hardcodings and other enhancements I'd like to make though. So, rather than having us copy-paste code back and forth, could we consider some other form of codesharing? I believe we already both use Apache Yetus, so that's one possible direction. BTW, I'm not subscribed to dev@hbase, so please keep me CC'd on this thread. Thanks, Andrew
