Hey all, Just wanted to introduce myself since I've been getting pulled into the world of HBase tests.
I've been working around hdfs and distributed systems for a long while now and a ridiculously huge percentage of my time has been spent on tests, flaky tests, parallel tests, whackamoling tests and the like. I have a strong itch for fast local passing tests (I like to run with a lot of RAM and cores when I can), and I think a lot of my experience could help improve HBase test speed and stability. In any case, never hurts to have more person hour help with test hardening. I was looking at joining the slack channel and heard you need to request access on the dev list. Could I request a pass?
