Yes but I don't see a major issue with promoting to LP(Config)? I thought the agreement here was that LP(Config) was basically "exposed for config constants", but maybe I misunderstood.
Also ConnectionConfiguration is a relatively basic and lightweight wrapper around configs. I think it's a perfect example of what this LP(Config) API could look like.
