Clearwater Analytics ([https://clearwateranalytics.com/]) has an HBase cluster
with 9 nodes in production. We have a handful of tables hosting billions of
rows (and growing) in a time series manner. Some tables are pretty wide, with
several hundreds of columns, while others are very tall and narrow.
