URL: https://github.com/apache/helix/pull/320#issuecomment-491238706 I still got the same compile error after I did below actions 1. upgrade my maven from 3.3.1 to 3.6.1, which is the latest version 2. run command as @narendly suggested, $mvn -DskipTests clean install package BTW: I use MacOS 10.14.3
