Helix Test Framework

Hi,

I have created a branch off of master called helix_test_framework, to 
start work on adding a test framework that can be used by applications 
that use Helix to simulate system events such as node failures, network 
partitions, etc.

Please let me know if you have any ideas on how we could build this feature.
