OK, here's the simplest approach I can come up with given the way internal
column names currently work:
* introduce yet another config parameter hive.exec.rowoffset=true/false
(default false)
* only support the new virtual column for queries where this is true (get rid
of static field VirtualColumn.registry and replace it with a getRegistry method
which takes in a conf)
* set this in the conf used for compiling the internal statement (but don't
modify the top-level conf)
(Ideally, we wouldn't need the config param; we would do this automatically
based on the presence of a reference to the VC in the query. Also ideally, at
execution time we would avoid any counter-increment overhead when this is
false.)
