hiveserver doesn't accept --auxpath option

I tried to run hiveserver with --auxpath using following command line:
{code}
bin/hive --auxpath
/Users/achi/git/hive/build/dist/lib/hive-hbase-handler-0.8.0-SNAPSHOT.jar
--service hiveserver
{code}
However, it is not transformed into -hiveconf in the final command:
{code}
-hiveconf
hive.aux.jars.path=file:///Users/achi/git/hive/build/dist/lib/hive-hbase-handler-0.8.0-SNAPSHOT.jar
{code}
[HIVE-2139] has enabled HiveServer to accept -hiveconf option. It seems
reasonable to allow --auxpath specified in command line.
