Thanks for the docs, [~ctang.ma] and [~szehon]! I did a little editing and
added some version information, so you might want to verify my changes. In the
meantime, I'm removing the TODOC15 label from this issue.

Apparently READ_ONLY mode isn't implemented, if I'm reading the patch for
HIVE-1413 correctly.
