The progress API introduced in SPARK-2321 provides a new way for user to
monitor job progress. However the information exposed in the API is relatively
limited. SPARK-4440 tracks enhancing the API to provide both job progress and
metrics.
This JIRA tracks consuming the new API on Hive side, and obviously is pending
progress on SPARK-4440.
