It would be extremely useful if the autogenerated job names that Hive generates
would strip (or substitute) metacharacters such as * since that will likely be
used as a filename elsewhere in the system. (Multiple *'s, in particular, can
trigger surprising regex backtracking bugs in a variety of regex
implementations if they aren't properly escaped.)
