Similar to HIVE-11825, we need to enable ALLOW_BACKSLASH_ESCAPING_ANY_CHARACTER
property in json_tuple UDTF
For example in HIVE-11825, there are null return in below statement

SELECT a.timestamp, b.*
FROM log a LATERAL VIEW json_tuple(a.appevent, 'eventid', 'eventname') b as
