{{org.apache.hive.jdbc.HiveResultSetMetaData.isSigned}} throws
{{java.sql.SQLException: Method not supported}}, causing problems for many
use-cases involving the Hive JDBC client. Here are a few user reports of this

Similar to HIVE-3015, I think that this should be fixed in a future release so
