Got opaque error message FAILED: Execution Error, return code 2 from
org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.exec.MapRedTask which tedious trial and error deduced
to be an MR misconfiguration on io.sort.mb, namely the map buffer size was too
small for the allocated child heap size.
Would be helpful if the error message was more specific.
