I believe all blockers have now been addressed. The remaining items, as far as 
I can tell, are nice-to-haves rather than critical.

You can go ahead with the branch creation and initiate the release process. If 
any pending items get resolved before the tag is pushed, they can still be 
included in the branch.

Given that the entire process will take 2–3 days, there’s some buffer for folks 
to get things in. Anything that doesn’t make it can be targeted for the next 
release.
