Just a quick update:
Work on filter pushdown on primary key range scans have been completed via
HIVE-1634 HIVE-2771 HIVE-2815 HIVE-2819
Note that filters are still *not* pushed for non-primary keys. I don't plan to
work on that in immediate future, but would be to help out if any one else is
planning for it.
