Hi Swarnim,
Would you mind taking a look at HBASE-8693? Specifically, HBase now provides a
Struct for defining compound keys, with support for composition using both
field-width and delimiter-based separation. It would be great to get these type
encoders supported as first-class citizens for bridging the gap between Hive
and HBase.
