Hey Carl,
It looks v2 couldn't bootstrap. I have made a few minor modifications to your
patch which makes it able to bootstrap.
1) I added Aggregator to the display name of hive-shims-aggregator
2) Since the new "uber" jar is hive-shims-${version}.jar I removed the uberjar
classifier from the dependencies.
